Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most famous movies. She was raised by an artistic family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of artistic fields. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. She received her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international success, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she had been voted as the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
