Silk is a native of Canada. academic. Silk was raised in Fredericton. She is born to Peter Silk, who was a professor at the University of New Brunswick, as well as Ilkay Silk, a playwright and director, who also became famous for her acting. One of Anna's first memories included going to rehearsals and watching her mother work. Silk played a role as a young girl in numerous commercials. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the beginning: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to Los Angeles in the decade immediately following 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop in 2007. They were married civilly in December 2009. The couple reaffirmed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in a Jewish ceremony after becoming Jewish.
