Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and music producer. The most famous of her roles is Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' a comedy TV show. While she is a performer however, her passion for music. She maintains that music is her primary passion. She was experimenting in since the age of nine years old. When she was 12 years old, the art of music was taken seriously enough to warrant professionally trained. After some experimentation with music, she decided to record her album of songs at age 14. And the rest is history. Orrantia is a native of America, has Hispanic ancestry. She's proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic origins, despite using English only and never lived in Mexico. Her goal is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs, and also studying the language. One of her efforts was a Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was awarded the X Factor's four "yeses" to the judges in the Seattle live audition stage following being selected from her YouTube video submission. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she along with three female singers were put together for the remaining auditions during "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated from the program during the fifth live week.
